Information for 2027 P1 Parents
This page provides essential information and resources for 2027 Primary 1 (P1) parents to help families prepare for their child’s transition to primary school at Jing Shan Primary School. You may access essential resources and information here for your child’s smooth transition into Jing Shan Primary School. Stay updated on P1 Orientation, purchase of school resources and other information that will support your child's first step into primary education.
JS Orientation for 2027 P1 JingShanites
P1 Orientation will be held at Jing Shan Primary School on Wednesday, 4 November 2026 from 2.00pm to 4.30pm. The tentative programme is as follows:

Owing to space constraints in the school hall, each child is limited to having at most 2 accompanying parents and/or authorized adults.
If you are driving on 4 November 2026, please park your vehicle at the public carparks in the neighboring estate and walk to the school.

P1 Administrative Matters 2027
· Parents Gateway Onboarding (Required)
Parents are required to set up Parents Gateway (PG) as soon as possible.

· Online Application for GIRO (Required)
The service is available to account holders from BOC, DBS/POSB, MAYBANK, OCBC, SCB, HSBC and UOB. The link will be available through Parents Gateway (PG) app and on the MOE website.

· Standing Order Form for Use of Edusave Account (Required)
Only for Singapore Citizens

· Student Details Form (SDF) (Required)
Parents can only access the online SDF from 1 December 2025, 10.00 am . Only one parent (father or mother) is required to submit the form to MOE. Please complete the submission by 31 December 2025.

· Student Arrival and Dismissal Arrangements Form (Required)
The school requires information on arrival and dismissal arrangements, to look out for students on their arrival to school and ensure their safe dismissal. Parents are to submit the form by 27 December 2026.
In the event of multiple submissions, the latest submission will be taken.

· Health Promotion Board (HPB) Child Consent Portal (Required)
Parents are required to give consent for the health screening of students in schools. The school will inform parents via Parents Gateway once the online link from Health Promotion Board (HPB) is ready.

· Application for MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (MOE FAS) (if applicable)
From November 2026 onwards, MOE will be implementing a new system known as the Student Finance System (SFS) for the administration of MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (MOE FAS) applications. MOE will provide more information on the MOE FAS application process at a later stage.
Parents who intend to apply for MOE FAS are advised not to purchase textbooks or school attire until the application outcome is available.

Parents are encouraged to purchase the items online through the website of the school uniform vendor. Parents can also purchase items onsite in Jing Shan Primary School on the dates given in the booklist.

· School Bus Service

· Student Care Services
Parents had been invited to a briefing conducted by YMCA Student Care Centre (SCC) on Wednesday, 7 October 2026. Interested parents have submitted applications which have been processed by the SCC. Please click here for more information on YMCA SCC.
· POSB Smart Buddy
The POSB Smart Buddy e-payment option will be made available for students in the school canteen and bookstore. Please click here [PDF, 1.94 MB] (opens in new tab) if you wish to enroll for POSB Smart Buddy. E-payment is optional and cash will continue to be accepted.
